Grief Retreat at Wonderland Community Project, 6/22 from 10-3, Free event

$0.00

Join us for our next grief retreat on Sunday, June 22nd from 10am to 3pm at Wonderland Community Project in McHenry county, 120 acres nestled between Woodstock, Wonder Lake and Bully Valley.

At this retreat we will focus on grief through artistic expression. We will have writing and artistic prompts for people to follow as well as an area set up for sketching and painting a still life. People will also be able to wander our trails with art supplies to draw and paint any place they feel moved to around the land. At 2pm there will be a circle in our aspen grove to share your thoughts if you would like to.

This is a free event, lunch and art supplies are provided.

Please note that Wonderland is very rustic. There is no running water and one small compost toilet. We are working on making Wonderland accessible for everyone but are not there yet. Please contact me if you have questions about access or anything else.

If you would like to come please RSVP at wonderlandcommunityproject@gmail.com by June 20th for information and directions.
